It’s so snuggly !! … And cute πŸΎ

hi everyone

I love to knit and sew and I am getting alot better at it. Yay !! I am super chuffed with what I made yesterday, my own Koala cushion. 🐾🐨⭐️
What do u guys think?  I’m still not sure  whether I need to add a wee mouth or not?

Do u want to have a try at making your own cushion?…. Here’s how !! πŸ‘‡

  • First of all I cut out a template of the koala bear and pinned the paper onto the felt. U could draw anything onto a piece of paper, even something crazy. I might do a donut next.
  • I then cut around the paper on the felt.
  • I placed the koala shaped felt onto one piece of square cotton material and sewed it on. This is called applique. I used small stitches to add the detail for the arms etc.  I then cut out circular pieces of felt for the eyes and triangle for the nose and sewed them on.
  • Next I placed the material with the koala picture upside down and then placed another exact size of  cotton material on top. U then sew all the way around, remembering to leave enough gap to be able to turn the material inside out and stuff
  • Once stuffed, sew the gap closed  .

Hope this makes sense, sorry I didn’t take any photos of the process, was too busy enjoying sewing.

Hope u r having a great day

πŸ₯Marsh family PlushiesπŸ₯

Well last week went by in a blur. I’ve only got a few weeks till the end of my school year and there has been so much stuff I have had to do for school etc so I never even got a chance to blog at all last week. Missed it so much. But this week is less crazy so be prepared for a lot from AribebopπŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ’š

So, Yay!! I am finally getting to show u the plushies I made. Β As u may or may not know a few weeks ago I entered a blog competition . In this comp u had to draw a picture and the blogger would make a plushie of it and do a tutorial on her blog.

4 people entered and I won!! Yay !!! The 3 other pics were really good and creative and I think would have look amazing as plushies. When I saw the tutorial I instantly wanted to make them. So I did! Here they areπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Marshall, Martha, Meisha and Milo. πŸ’œπŸ’šπŸ’›β€οΈΒ
They were actually suprisingly easy to make. I’m still learning to see so please don’t judge my sewing to harshly lol !!

What you need to make them:

Toy stuffing

Thread to sew it all together

It’s surprisingly cheap to get all this stuff ( my felt sheets were 50p per sheet in Hobby Craft! ) so don’t worry if u don’t have a huge amount of money to spend on these craft supplies ☺️

So below is my basic instructions on how to make the plushies.

Let me know if any of you make the plushies or make anything else like this. Would love to hear from you.

I’ll leave you with a last picture of Martha, Mrs Marsh, she decided that my Tiffany pouch was the bed for her !! I have to agree πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

β˜€οΈSnazzy Sundayβ˜€οΈ

hiya! Β So for this weeks Snazzy Sunday post I am going to share with you something I made a wee while ago for my Mum. Β I thought I would have my Marshmallow plushies made in time but they weren’t. Prob be finished Tuesday I think, so keep a watch out. Mr and Mrs Marsh are so cute!! Can’t wait to finish and show u. Anyway back to my bags …

My next door neighbour has a business from home making personalised bags with cute girl pictures painted on them amongst other things. I wanted to make one for my Mum and was invited along to her house to learn how to make one. Β I was so lucky and very excited. πŸ˜‹

I already had an idea of what I wanted my bag to look like, with the colour of her hair etc so I first of all drew the picture of it with pencil onto paper and then copied it onto the bag.

I was then shown how to start layering the fabric paints to create shade and definition into the hair etc πŸ’πŸΌ

I used a mixture of matte and metallic paints.

I also used glitter fabric paints to add some extra sparkle and glitter. It’s so gorgeous when it hits the light.

To finish off I wrote Mummy on it and added a ribbon on which I threaded through a heart charm to attach it to the bag.

She was so thrilled and has been using it loads!

Here is some of the bags I own that are of a similar design and inspired me. The cupcake bag was made for me by my neighbour. They are called moomoobags. The smaller one I got from my Aunty Lou and it’s a Clareabella bag. I absolutely love them. πŸŽ€πŸ’•πŸ’œ

Have a great rest of your Sunday

I won the Plushie competition !!!!Β

I entered a competition about a month ago I think and it was to draw a picture that would be made into a plushie. So I decided as I absolutely adore anything Β Kawaii I would try and do something like that.

So I created my wee Marsh family of marshmallows. I’m very pleased to introduce u to Marshall, Martha, Meisha and Milo. πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’š

I’m so excited as now my drawing will be made into Plushies !! How exciting is that ! Β Unfortunately I wont get them sent to me but Amy will post a tutorial on how to make it and I cant wait to try. It will help me practice my sewing.

Couldnt figure out how to reblog from her site so had to capture the image. Silly me 😜 thanks so much to Amy for her fab competition. I really enjoyed entering it.
Hope u r all having a great day whatever u r up to.

Washi Tape!!

hi guys! I’m writing this post at my bbf’s ( best blogger friend ) house. And today I’m going to do a post on WASHI TAPE! If you don’t already know,  washi tape is like masking tape but its pattered and coloured and you can write on it, tear it easily, and it is very cheap and easy to use.

Washi means Japanese paper and has been used in Japan for over 1,000 years and is made from Japanese shrubs  unlike western paper which is made from tree pulp.  Washi tape was created in 2006 by a masking tape company in Japan.  It is known here for the beautiful designs that are printed or painted on it.  Westerners only call it washi tape, In Japan its just known as masking tape.

If you are interested in reading more about how its made, pop over to (since when has masking tape been this fun? Since Washi tape !  So cool !!  )

So I’m going to show you all the washi tape and ducktape I have and then show you what I’ve done with, where you can get it, how much it is and other stuff like that. Just remember that I live in the UK so won’t be the same as USA or other countries. So Let’s get Started!

So that’s all my ducktape and washi tape I πŸ’•β€οΈ it!!! The wee rolls in the middle I got in a pack of 3 and there were 75p each ( UK money ), super cheap as they were on sale.  Woo hoo. The duck tape was Β£1.50 each from Hobbycraft.

Duck tape and Washi Tape are very different.  As I said above you can write and draw on the Washi tape whereas you cant on the Duck tape. I have tried and it smudges. But I think  the duck tape  is more waterproof and durable and there was definetly  more designs available (in our shop anyway). You can also get it in thicker rolls so you can make bigger items like purses etc. Washi tape would def be too flimsy for that.  I love that we have the two options to choose from.  I used a mixture of the both in the things I made below.

These are the things I’ve made with Washi Tape

I am so excited about this!! My new light switch for my bedroom. Was soooooo easy to do.

Because the tape is sticky but also repositionable, you can lift straight back off if it was squinty.  I then used a craft knife to trim the edges. To finish off I used my favourite glittery nail polish on the actual switch.

I also decorated my favourite nail polish bottles from Justice. I think they look so snazzy !

I am going to have to stop myself from Washi taping everything in sight !  πŸ˜œ

I made the moustache bookmark above and also did a wee heart picture too.

πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œWashi wish list. I need/I want πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Paperchase has some totally cute tape, this one above is currently on sale Β£2.25. Steal !!  The one below is from Hobbycraft and is Β£3.50 but they have 3 for 2 sale at the moment

There is loads of video tutorials on you tube on how to make all sorts of things. U can even do your nails with them. Would have to be careful with the craft knife though 😁. Pinterest, other blogs have sooooo many cool ideas   I cant wait to try them all !!

So I’m off to bed now to dream of Washi with my newly covered Blog ideas book beside me.

Hope u enjoyed this post and I have inspired you to join the rest of the world who has gone Washi crazy 😜😜
