It’s so snuggly !! … And cute 🐾

hi everyone

I love to knit and sew and I am getting alot better at it. Yay !! I am super chuffed with what I made yesterday, my own Koala cushion. 🐾🐨⭐️
What do u guys think?  I’m still not sure  whether I need to add a wee mouth or not?

Do u want to have a try at making your own cushion?…. Here’s how !! 👇

  • First of all I cut out a template of the koala bear and pinned the paper onto the felt. U could draw anything onto a piece of paper, even something crazy. I might do a donut next.
  • I then cut around the paper on the felt.
  • I placed the koala shaped felt onto one piece of square cotton material and sewed it on. This is called applique. I used small stitches to add the detail for the arms etc.  I then cut out circular pieces of felt for the eyes and triangle for the nose and sewed them on.
  • Next I placed the material with the koala picture upside down and then placed another exact size of  cotton material on top. U then sew all the way around, remembering to leave enough gap to be able to turn the material inside out and stuff
  • Once stuffed, sew the gap closed  .

Hope this makes sense, sorry I didn’t take any photos of the process, was too busy enjoying sewing.

Hope u r having a great day

☀️Snazzy Sunday☀️

hiya!  So for this weeks Snazzy Sunday post I am going to share with you something I made a wee while ago for my Mum.  I thought I would have my Marshmallow plushies made in time but they weren’t. Prob be finished Tuesday I think, so keep a watch out. Mr and Mrs Marsh are so cute!! Can’t wait to finish and show u. Anyway back to my bags …

My next door neighbour has a business from home making personalised bags with cute girl pictures painted on them amongst other things. I wanted to make one for my Mum and was invited along to her house to learn how to make one.  I was so lucky and very excited. 😋

I already had an idea of what I wanted my bag to look like, with the colour of her hair etc so I first of all drew the picture of it with pencil onto paper and then copied it onto the bag.

I was then shown how to start layering the fabric paints to create shade and definition into the hair etc 💁🏼

I used a mixture of matte and metallic paints.

I also used glitter fabric paints to add some extra sparkle and glitter. It’s so gorgeous when it hits the light.

To finish off I wrote Mummy on it and added a ribbon on which I threaded through a heart charm to attach it to the bag.

She was so thrilled and has been using it loads!

Here is some of the bags I own that are of a similar design and inspired me. The cupcake bag was made for me by my neighbour. They are called moomoobags. The smaller one I got from my Aunty Lou and it’s a Clareabella bag. I absolutely love them. 🎀💕💜

Have a great rest of your Sunday

I won the Plushie competition !!!!

I entered a competition about a month ago I think and it was to draw a picture that would be made into a plushie. So I decided as I absolutely adore anything  Kawaii I would try and do something like that.

So I created my wee Marsh family of marshmallows. I’m very pleased to introduce u to Marshall, Martha, Meisha and Milo. 💛💙💜💚

I’m so excited as now my drawing will be made into Plushies !! How exciting is that !  Unfortunately I wont get them sent to me but Amy will post a tutorial on how to make it and I cant wait to try. It will help me practice my sewing.

Couldnt figure out how to reblog from her site so had to capture the image. Silly me 😜 thanks so much to Amy for her fab competition. I really enjoyed entering it.
Hope u r all having a great day whatever u r up to.

☀️ Snazzy Sunday ☀️

hiya! It’s my favourite time of the week because I love making Snazzy Sunday!! Today I’m going to be showing you guys all the arty stuff I’ve been doing the last couple of days. But before all that voting for my competition entry at is now open. So go and check it out. I would be very grateful if u liked my entry enough to vote for me. The other entries are fab too. !!

So now to my crafts. I have decided to ask you all to vote for your favourite one! So once you’ve finished reading this and have decided what one you will choose go over to the comments and put ” I vote for 1,2,3 or 4 … All of the things will be numbered, I can’t wait to see what you think of these things!  So without further ado here you go!

Number 1

You need a notepad (a small one will do), stickers, embellishments ( I used buttons and wee gems), glue

To get this awesome effect you basically overlap the stickers filling the spaces on the front cover. Once the page was full, I then added the embellishments.

Its was so easy !!

Number 2

We have these really cool milk bottles at home that I decided to decorate with Washi tape. I love drinking my milk and eating a cookie with this !!

Number 3

Using Washi tape again, I made this cool bracelet.

I used a strip of paper and wound strips of different Washi tape around it. I then used a hole punch to punch a hole at each end and then put a piece of wool through the holes so I can tie it round my wrist.

Number 4

This is the first thing I have ever sewn properly on my own so I am so proud of myself. I have called her Rosemary the cat. 🐱🐱🐱

You need felt, a marker to draw the shape u want, scissors, need to be quite sharp, thread, buttons for eyes, ribbon for collar and stuffing to fill her. U could make  her any colour you want, any design really. It would also look cool if u make mini animals and then you can have ur very own family!

These are just some of the arty things I’ve made. I hope you ❤️ this post, I’ve had so much fun making all of these awesome things and I hope that if ur looking for an art project to do that I have given u some inspiration! Have an awesome rest of ur day 👍😋 BYE

☀️ Snazzy Sunday ☀️

hiya bloggers! Today for Snazzy Sunday I’m going to show you all of my kawaii drawings. Like a lot of people I absolutely love everything kawaii and I love to draw cute kawaii things too 💜. All of these drawings I did all by myself and I think you’ll agree that they are very cute!! The pencils I used for the colouring in are these awesome watercolour pencils I got from my local WHSmith. In the comments tell me what your favourite drawing is, I’d love to hear feedback! So here are the Kawaii Drawings!!

So this first picture is a drawing I entered in a comp for a blog called Little Moon Dragon here’s the link for her awesome blog! you’ll find more info there, the prize for 1 or 2 winners is their drawing made into a plush.. How you win is bloggers vote for their favourite pic and the pic with the most votes wins, so definitely go and vote! The drawings will be posted on her site next Sunday as the competition has been extended so there is more time if you guys want to enter as well 😃

After I had sent in my entry I really wanted to do more drawings like the Marsh Family so I grabbed my pencils and pens and drew these 2 cheeky kitties! It took me a wee while to finish but it was totally worth it, they’re so cute!! 🐱🐱

That same night I drew this wee cutie, Angel Bunny didn’t take as much time to do but she’s still super cute!! I actually hadn’t planned to draw another picture but as I was looking through the internet I found a picture of a really adorable bunny similar to this. I couldn’t resist so I started to draw her and before I knew it she was finished! 🐰🐰🐰🐰

As soon as I woke up I knew I wanted to draw another wee kawaii character so I set to work finding something to draw. When I came across this wee guy I had to draw him, so I got my pencil and started to draw. About 15 minutes later I had finished the outline of him so all I had to do was to colour him in. After I had finished I was so happy the way he turned out because I don’t normally draw pandas but after this I think I’ll be drawing them a lot! 🐼🐼🐼

Last but certainly not least is Allie the Alpaca! I know they aren’t actually rainbow but I think it looks so bold and beautiful.this one is the smallest of all of them but I still really enjoyed drawing her and that’s what drawing is all about isn’t it, having fun and creating what ever pops into your head! 😋😊

I hope you loved this post and like this if you love all things Kawaii 💜💙💜💙 have a beautiful rest of your day! BYE

⛄️❄️Olaf thumbprint doodles ❄️

hiya everyone

Today I am sharing a cute doodle that I did for the awesome blog  Jana was asking for photos from any of her followers that have tried one of her projects. I love thumb doodling and have loads of sets and ink pads so I thought I would try Olaf.

I love Frozen especially Olaf, he’s so funny. His ” In Summer” song was so awesome. To think he wants to be warm and on the beach and not realising that he would melt made me giggle !!

What do you think of my doodle.  It was so easy to do.

I had lots of practice on my thumb doodle sets I have. You dont really need to have a proper set but it does help as it teaches you how to do it and gives you plenty of ideas.  The Star Wars book is awesome !!

Hope this has inspired you to maybe try some pictures of your own.  Have babywipes at the ready !!

☀️ Snazzy Sunday ☀️

Hi guys! This is a new thing called Snazzy Sunday. So every Sunday I will post an Creative thing whether it’s drawing, knitting, doing cool things with my hair or nails etc etc , it will be awesome!

For me Sundays are all about relaxing because most of the week I have a lot and I mean a lot of things going on so it’s very rare that I get to properly chill❄️ so for this week as it is Mother’s Day I’m going to be making something for my Mum … A handy bag !!

👇What You’ll Need 👇                                                                                                           A canvas bag, glue, buttons and glitter glue

How to make it!                                                                                                                 First you’ll want to draw your hand on the bag.                                                                   Next get your pva glue and glue your hand ( the hand on your bag not yours! ). Now you just want to stick random buttons on the print.

This next step is optional get your glitter glue and write Mummy’s/ Mum’s handy bag, leave it to dry and your Finished!

Have a great Mother’s Day, if you try this then leave a message in the comments and if you haven’t already go and check out my other posts!

Thanks for reading my blog, Bye!!

P.S go and have a look at my friend Lou’s blog – Its awesome💕
